📜 About & history
The mosque was founded in the early Ming dynasty in the Mapo area of central Weining town. It was destroyed in 1858 (the sixth year of the Xianfeng reign) when the people of Mapo were massacred and more than three hundred Muslims were killed. It was rebuilt with government funding between 1984 and 1985.
