📜 About & history
Mapo Middle Mosque, at 53 Muchun Road in Mapo Village, had its main buildings completed in the Qing Xianfeng era. Damaged in the Cultural Revolution, it was later restored, and its prayer hall was rebuilt in 1987. The main hall covers 380 square metres and the site about 3.1 mu; the congregation numbers 723 Hui households (4,350 people). In December 2021 the Henan provincial government listed it in the eighth batch of provincial protected sites.
