📜 About & history
Magai Mosque is in Dongmagai Village, Huji Township, Mudan District, 25 km northeast of Heze city. The original prayer hall, of unknown date, no longer stands; the present mosque was sited during village planning in 1980, rebuilt by 1986 and enlarged in 2004. It covers 4,000 square metres, with a main hall of 1,500 square metres. The village is entirely Hui, with more than 2,500 residents; a democratic management committee for the mosque was set up in 1980.
