Linkou County Mosque

林口县清真寺
📍 Mudanjiang · Linkou County 🏛️ 1945

📜 About & history

Linkou County Mosque, on the north side of Dongjie Market in Linkou Town, was founded in 1945 as a simple building. In 1949 a small two-storey building on about 1.5 mu was built east of today's ethnic department store, and in 1952 the mosque moved to the old market. Religious activities stopped during the Cultural Revolution and its property was taken over; after religious policy was restored in 1980, a single-storey brick building was kept as the place of worship. Imam Wang Jintao has led it since 2002.
