📜 About & history
Founded at the east gate of the old Ledu (Nianbo) city in the 34th year of the Ming Wanli reign (1606). The south-facing complex of a mountain gate, transit hall, east and west corridors and main prayer hall preserves strong Ming-dynasty architectural character, making it one of Haidong's oldest mosques.

🚇 How to reach the mosque
City buses run through central Nianbo; alight near the East Gate and walk. Taxis are cheap in town.
From Xining's Dongguan area take the train or a car east to Ledu, then taxi to the East Gate.
In the old city core of Nianbo town; Ledu is about 60 km east of Xining, roughly 40 min by train or 1 hour by car, then a short taxi to the East Gate.
Halal noodle and beef restaurants cluster around the old East Gate. Mandarin widely spoken.
