📜 About & history
The mosque was built in 1406 (the fourth year of the Ming Yongle era) and is an important architectural relic of the old city of Kaiyuan, covering about 3,383 square metres. In 1952 a central delegation presented congratulatory banners carrying a message of ethnic unity in the name of national leaders. In 2007 it was listed as a provincial-level cultural-relic protection unit.
