📜 About & history
The original Huiminying Mosque in Huiminying Village, Houshayu, is traditionally dated to 1305 (Yuan Dade 9) and was enlarged in 1432 and several times in the Qing. In 2007 the village was relocated for the expansion of Beijing Capital International Airport; the old mosque stopped being used and is kept as a historic site. The new mosque was built in Qinglan Garden, its moon-viewing tower was completed on 25 February 2010, and it covers 2,450 square metres.
