Honggangzi Gongbei in Tongxin County is the headquarters shrine (gongbei) and religious lodge of the Khufiyya Honggangzi menhuan, one of Ningxia's important Sufi orders. The complex combines a domed saint's mausoleum with a mosque and lodge and is a major pilgrimage centre; on the founder's death-anniversary (ermali) it draws worshippers from across northwest China. Tongxin County, one of the most heavily Muslim counties in China, contains hundreds of mosques.

No Arab trader hub locally; visitors typically arrive via Wuzhong or Zhongwei and then Tongxin.
In the countryside of Tongxin County; hire a taxi from Tongxin county seat, which lies southeast of Wuzhong and Qingtongxia.
A working Sufi shrine; dress modestly and follow local etiquette. Halal food in Tongxin county seat. Chinese is spoken.
