📜 About & history

Haqiangtan Mosque is in Haliangtan Village, Biandu Township, Lintan County, Gansu. Founded in the early Qing dynasty, it follows the Yihewani tradition and serves 29 Hui households (130 people) in the village. Its traditional buildings were burned in the unrest of 1929; simple buildings were put up in 1936 and pulled down in 1958. Eight rooms were rebuilt after 1978, and in 1987 a prayer hall with four upturned corners and a gate were added. The mosque covers about 1 mu, with the prayer hall and classrooms.
