📜 About & history
Hanzhong's principal mosque was founded in the middle Ming dynasty and has several centuries of history. It stands on North Tuanjie Street, the traditional Hui quarter of the walled city in Hantai District. The complex includes a prayer hall of national (Chinese) architectural character, an imam's office, and ablution and water rooms.

🚇 How to reach the mosque
Central Hantai District, near the old city; city buses stop on nearby Tianhan Avenue / Zhongshan Street.
No Arab trader quarter in Hanzhong. Visitors generally reach the city by rail from Xi'an (about 1.5-2 hours by high-speed train).
Hanzhong has no metro. From Hanzhong Railway Station it is about 3 km south to North Tuanjie Street; taxi 10-15 minutes. Show the Chinese address to the driver.
Halal beef and lamb restaurants sit along Tuanjie Street in the Hui quarter. Languages: Mandarin, Hanzhong dialect.
