Hanjiaji Upper Mosque stands on the main street of Hanji Town, Linxia County, covering about 5 mu; its Hui congregation follows the Huasi order, and it lies about 3 li from Mochuan Grand Mosque. A triple-arched gate is topped by a four-storey hexagonal minaret mixing Chinese and Arab styles, and the main hall combines a hip-and-gable roof with a rolled roof, decorated with carved-brick flowers and antiques. In 1992 the mosque built a hostel on its waqf land.
