📜 About & history
Guyang Mosque on Minzu Road, Jinshan Town, Guyang County, was founded in 1923; after 1949 its imam was Ma Yongyang. Destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, it had its prayer hall and imam's room rebuilt in 1982 and its ablution rooms restored in 1989, giving a total floor area of 860 square metres. Its congregation follows the Jahriyya order. In 2020 it was made Guyang County's education base for ethnic unity, with an exhibition room and a study room.
