📜 About & history
Dingjiazhuang Mosque is in Dingjiazhuang Village, about 3 km from Xincheng township seat, Lintan County, Gansu. It was founded in the Ming Hongwu era by an officer surnamed Ding who came west with Mu Ying's army. Its prayer hall and other buildings were burned in the unrest of 1929; in 1933 twelve rooms, including a three-bay hall, were rebuilt, and Imam Yabu introduced the Yihewani teaching. Part of it was pulled down in 1958; seven rooms were built in 1987 and a three-bay brick-and-timber prayer hall with double eaves in 1988. More than 20 Hui households worship here.
