📜 About & history
Diaogou Mosque in Shangdiaogou Village, Qingshizui Town, Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, was founded in 1847 in the Qing Daoguang era. It covers 2,400 square metres; its richly decorated 400-square-metre prayer hall has carved brick floral panels on the walls and finely carved beams and columns. It was listed among the second batch of county-level protected sites on 13 June 2006. After Ma Ruyun became its leading cleric in 2005, a dividing wall was removed so that followers of the "new" and "old" teachings could pray together.
