Dachang Mosque is the principal mosque of Dachang Hui Autonomous County, one of only two Hui autonomous counties near Beijing, administered by Langfang. First built during the Ming Yongle era (1403-1424), it was rebuilt twice, in 1770 (the 34th year of the Qing Qianlong reign) and again in 1851 (the 1st year of the Xianfeng reign). The mosque remains the religious and cultural anchor for the county's large Hui Muslim population.

Open for the five daily prayers, with the main Friday Jumu'ah gathering around midday; ablution (wudu) facilities are on site. Modest dress is requested, and non-Muslim visitors are welcome outside prayer times.
