📜 About & history
The Beiwu Mosque was built in the Wanli era of the Ming dynasty and stands west of Beiwu village in the Dachang Hui Autonomous County. It covers 5,600 square metres around a square courtyard; its main hall, nearly 40 metres long, holds about 1,200 worshippers, built of brick, timber and stone blending Chinese and Arab styles, and it is one of Hebei's key mosques.
