📜 About & history
Beida Mosque in Qinyang was established during the Zhizheng period (1341-1368) of the Yuan dynasty and rebuilt several times. It was destroyed by fire in 1628 and badly damaged in an earthquake during the Daoguang reign, then rebuilt on its original site in 1887; it is the largest mosque complex in the Central Plains.
