The Rapsel Alley Mosque, also known as the Lhasa Small Mosque, sits near Barkhor Street in Chengguan District, Lhasa. It was built in the 1920s by Muslim merchants from Kashmir, Ladakh, Bhutan, Nepal, and British India. Its central location by the Barkhor market made it a principal venue for Friday prayers and religious gatherings.
