白沟清真寺
📍 Baoding · Baigou New Town 🏛️ 1821

📜 About & history

Baigou Mosque in Baigou New Town, Baoding, was founded in 1821 (early Qing Daoguang era) on East Street of Renhezhuang and moved to Baixinzhuang Village in 1887. A five-bay middle hall was added in 1905 and the niche hall enlarged in 1923, giving the present layout of brick-and-timber buildings with gabled, rolled-ridge roofs. Steles inside record its relocation and repairs, and the gate bears a plaque by the Guangxu-era Hanlin scholar Hua Jinshou. In 1997 Hebei Province named it a model mosque.
