One of East China's larger flower and nursery-stock trading centres, founded in 2002 in Xinjie Town, Xiaoshan, known as China's 'home of flowers and nursery stock'. It covers 800 mu with more than 2,000 shops, traded 2.8 billion yuan in 2013, and runs an early seedling market from 4:00 to 11:00. It is about 500 m from Guniangqiao Station on Metro Line 5, suiting plant buyers and landscaping contractors.
