It trades with 80+ countries and draws on 900+ petrochemical plants and 3,000 new-material producers; in 2024 it handled over 10 million tonnes worth nearly RMB 1 trillion — about a tenth of the national market — and its price index is widely followed. It has hosted the Zhangmutou plastics expo since 2023 and suits resin buyers and plastics manufacturers.
