Yiwu's only government-approved large furniture market, at 1779 Xicheng Road in the west of the city, opened on 19 April 2006 on 80 mu with 160,000 m² of floor space. Floors are arranged by type: home and office furniture (B1), sofas (1F), modern panel and children's furniture (2F), European classical, redwood and solid-wood furniture (3F), premium pieces (4F) and fabrics, carpets and wallpaper (5F); about 70% of business is export-oriented. Suits furniture importers and traders visiting Yiwu.
