Tongling's largest wholesale market for groceries, liquor and daily goods, and a regional base for building and decoration materials in central-southern Anhui. The 256-mu market was developed in four phases: phase one opened on 26 May 2007, phase two in April 2008 for hardware, electromechanical goods and premium building materials, and phase three (ceramics and sanitaryware plus a lighting city) began trial operation in 2010. It sits at the junction of Tongdu and Tianshan avenues and suits retailers and contractors.
