A large dry-goods wholesale market in Tengzhou that grew out of the Xinghuacun dried-goods and dried-seafood market formed in the early reform era, and is counted among China's ten major specialist wholesale markets. Phase one covers 300 mu with 110,000 m² of floor space and about a thousand product lines on sale each day, with annual turnover above 6 billion yuan. Phase two, started in 2002, added trading halls, cold stores and processing plants, and goods come from every province and more than 20 countries, which suits spice and dry-food traders.
