China's largest wholesale market for wedding gowns and one of the world's main sources, grown out of Suzhou's silk and embroidery tradition. Design, tailoring and embroidery all happen on site, so gowns can be bought ready-made or cut to measure in a matter of days. The zones differ: A is the upmarket end, B offers the best value, and C holds the larger brand stores, with prices from a few hundred to tens of thousands of yuan

💡 Tips for traders
Quoted prices are highly negotiable and starting at about half is normal; for bulk orders request a sample before production and agree fabric, embroidery and measurements in writing; for modest gowns with long sleeves and closed necklines send reference photos, as the workshops regularly make them for Gulf customers; allow for shipping volume, since full skirts take a lot of space
