Mingshan District's largest fresh tea-leaf market and an important collection point for fresh leaf in southwest China. The season opens with the spring tea; trading starts at 11 a.m. daily and is done in under half an hour, with 200,000–250,000 jin (100–125 t) of fresh leaf traded per day. It serves growers from surrounding towns and attracts tea merchants from outside the area.
