Planned at about 1 million m² in three phases as a first-tier small-goods wholesale hub, it is one of Nanchang's five main small-commodity markets and was acquired by Hongcheng Market in 2012. Suits small-goods traders in Jiangxi, though facility upkeep has drawn complaints.
