🛒 What is sold here
The largest ornamental-stone market north of the Yangtze, in Linqu County, Weifang, opened on 26 March 1998 on 27,000 m² with stone halls, fixed stalls and open-air pitches. It sells local Zijin and Hongsi stones and famous stones from China and abroad, along with root carvings, calligraphy and paintings; about 22,000 people work in the trade, with annual turnover in the hundreds of millions of yuan. It grew out of an early-1990s morning stone fair on the Mi River banks.
