Yunnan's largest fruit market and Kunming's only specialist fruit wholesale market, founded in 1994; it supplies over 90% of the city's fruit and is a gateway to South and Southeast Asia. On 150 mu it hosts more than 500 fixed and about 3,000 mobile traders, with separate domestic and imported zones selling items such as Thai durian and Chilean cherries. It handled 1.5 million tonnes worth CNY 9 billion in 2024 and suits fruit importers and wholesalers.
