One of the first eight Chinese medicinal-herb markets certified nationally and one of 17 approved in 1996, founded in August 1992 at the junction of Huabanqiao, Jin'e and Donghuan roads. It covers 123 mu with 55,000 m² of floor space and over 2,000 shopfronts, warehouses and flats. More than 480 dealers from over 20 provinces trade here with annual turnover near CNY 300 million; it suits buyers of medicinal herbs.
