A large public-interest farm-produce wholesale market opened on 22 December 2004, the only comprehensive agricultural wholesale market in central Yichun. It covers about 240 mu with some 160,000 m² of buildings and about 1,600 traders, with annual turnover above RMB 10 billion. Built in three phases between 2004 and 2015, it added vegetable and fruit trading sheds in 2020 and is named a national public-interest model market by the Ministry of Commerce.
