A specialised produce wholesale market set up with Dongguan government approval in September 1997, listed since 1998 by the Ministry of Agriculture as a 'vegetable basket' central market and ranked among China's top ten fruit wholesale markets. It has a four-storey trading complex of 162,000 m², nearly 10,000 m³ of cold storage and a pesticide-residue lab; turnover reached RMB 3.9 billion in 2009. Good for bulk fruit buyers in the Pearl River Delta.
