A comprehensive wholesale trade city launched in January 2010 as a partnership between the Macheng government and Yiwu China Commodity City Group, with about 500,000 m² in total. It was planned with seven specialised markets including small commodities, clothing, shoes and bags, combining trading, warehousing and logistics. It aims to be a distribution centre for the Hubei–Henan–Anhui border area and suits retailers in the Dabie Mountains region.
