A commercial complex in Chongqing's Jiefangbei district, originally the Metropolitan Plaza opened in August 1997 as the city's first international commercial property after it became a municipality, managed by Hui Xian REIT. Its 230,000 m² include a mall, grade-A offices and the Hyatt; renamed in 2015, it was revamped under the 2023 'Butterfly Plan' with a Camellia Plaza and a sky garden opened in 2024 alongside Michelin-listed dining.
