📜 The law text / key provisions
The Law on People's Mediation (2011) provides: (1) Mediation committees: exist at residential community, village, and workplace levels; (2) Voluntary: mediation is voluntary and free of charge; (3) Mediation agreement: binding if signed by both parties; (4) Agreement enforcement: registration of mediation agreement at court gives it force of enforceable court judgment; (5) Scope: covers minor civil disputes such as neighborhood, labor, and consumer disputes.
