📜 The law text / key provisions
The Anti-Unfair Competition Law (2019 Amendment) provides: (1) Prohibited practices: misleading advertising, passing-off, commercial bribery, trade secret theft, commercial defamation; (2) Trade secrets: protection of confidential technical and commercial information of commercial value; (3) Penalties: RMB 100,000 to 5 million for serious violations; (4) Compensation: aggrieved party entitled to damages not less than actual loss; (5) Digital platforms: prohibition of interference and blocking practices between competing platforms.
