In China there is no explicit racial discrimination law, but the legal framework allows: (1) Civil lawsuit under the Civil Code (2021) Articles 990-1000 (rights of personality, dignity, and reputation): allows claiming compensation for public insult and defamation; (2) Criminal complaint under Article 246 of the Criminal Law (insult and slander): in cases of serious insult, a private criminal action may be filed; (3) For discrimination in commercial services (entry refusal based on nationality): the entity can be reported to the local Market Supervision Administration; (4) For offensive online content: reporting through the Cyberspace Administration (CAC).
