One of Quanzhou's two largest hospitals alongside the Second Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University, operating four sites (East Street, Chengdong, a geriatric branch and an obstetrics branch) with around 2,890 authorised beds. The East Street campus is the original site in the historic city centre, close to the districts where many Arab traders stay, while the Chengdong campus is newer and more spacious.
