Zhuoni
Zhuoni county in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu, is home to Zhuoni Monastery (Drakkar Chode), founded in the 14th century, which historically was one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist cultural centers in the Amdo region. The monastery was renowned for its woodblock printing of Tibetan Buddhist scriptures — the Zhuoni Canon. The upper Tao River flowing through the county supports rich forest ecosystems.
