In Guangxi province

Qinzhou is a coastal city on the Beibu Gulf in southern Guangxi and a key node of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. Its Sanniangwan Bay is renowned as a habitat for the rare Chinese white dolphin. The city is the hometown of Qing-dynasty generals Feng Zicai and Liu Yongfu, whose former residences are preserved. Qinzhou is famous for its Nixing pottery, one of China's four great pottery traditions, and for fresh Beibu Gulf seafood. Its deep-water port and free-trade zone make it a major petrochemical and logistics base.
