JAC (Jianghuai) is one of China's oldest carmakers, founded in 1964, starting with trucks before expanding to passenger cars and pickups. It expanded its lineup with the new budget "Yiwei" EV sub-brand (Yiwei 3) and the new luxury Refine RF8 minivan, alongside the QX (now offered in both petrol and plug-in hybrid) and the T9 pickup, one of China's top pickup exports. It entered the ultra-luxury club with Huawei through the Maextro brand, rivaling Maybach and Rolls-Royce.
