The memorial hall in Jing'an District occupies a shikumen lane house designed in October 1915 and completed the following year. It opened to the public on 30 June 2002. It is part of the "CPC 1st, 2nd and 4th Congress Memorial Halls" scenic area, rated a national 5A tourist attraction in 2021.
