Qikou Ancient Town lies in the Qikou national scenic area in Qikou Town, Linxian County, Lüliang. Its main street follows Wohu Hill west along the Qiushui River and then north up the Yellow River, with buildings fitted to the terrain and stone-paved lanes. It keeps many Ming and Qing warehouses, exchange shops, pawnshops, homes and wharves, and is called a "living ancient town". It became a national historical town in 2005, and the Qikou historic buildings were listed as national key cultural relics in 2006. It is a free national 4A attraction.
