ℹ️ About

Guangdong's only inhabited island county, widely called the province's most beautiful island. The 9.3 km Nan'ao Bridge from Chenghai District opened in 2015, turning it into a day trip from Shantou. It holds China's only island national forest park, the Tropic of Cancer 'Gate of Nature', Dajian Mountain (588 m — Shantou's highest peak) and Asia's largest island wind farm.
