About 25 km southeast of central Yinchuan. Airport bus to the city ~40 min (~CNY 20); taxi ~CNY 60-80, 30-40 min. No metro.

Gateway to Ningxia, the Hui Muslim autonomous region — very Arab-trader-friendly. Halal food everywhere and prayer rooms available. International flights including Dubai and some Middle East routes.

Yinchuan Railway Station: The airport is about 20 km out with no metro. The cheapest option is the airport shuttle bus into the centre near the station for about ¥20–22 in roughly 40 minutes. A taxi is about ¥60 in roughly 30 minutes.
