The airport is about 12 km south of central Quanzhou. Airport shuttles and city buses reach stations and hotels in 20-45 min. Taxi to central Quanzhou (West Street, Kaiyuan Temple) roughly 20-35 min, CNY 40-70.
Dual-use civil-military airport serving historic Quanzhou (UNESCO-listed Maritime Silk Road port), with routes to Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Compact single terminal. Halal facilities are limited.

Quanzhou Railway Station: Take airport bus K602 for about 15 yuan in roughly 50 to 60 minutes, the cheapest option, or a taxi for about 56 yuan in roughly 50 minutes over the 27 kilometre distance.
