🚇 Getting to the city centre
About 39 km from downtown Qingdao. Metro Line 8 links the airport to Qingdao North Railway Station in ~37 min, then transfer to Line 1/3 for downtown. Airport buses and taxis also available.

Largest airport in Shandong (35M pax capacity), replaced Liuting in 2021. Single starfish-shaped terminal, easy transfers, wide international network. Ask about prayer room and halal dining.
🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
To Qingdao North Railway Station: take Metro Line 8 directly from the airport, about 50-60 minutes for 8 yuan - the best and cheapest option.
To Qingdao Railway Station (city center): no direct link; ride Line 8 to Qingdao North, then transfer to Line 3 down to Qingdao Station, totaling about 70-85 minutes and 8 yuan. A taxi is around 250 yuan.
