The airport is about 24 km to the southwest of Jixi city center. There is no metro; reach the city by airport shuttle bus or taxi, with taxi being the fastest and most convenient option.

Named after Lake Khanka (Xingkai); serves the coal city of Jixi near the Russian border. A domestic regional airport in Heilongjiang. Basic facilities (dining and small shops); ask the information desk about a prayer room.
