🚇 Getting to the city centre
~32 km from downtown. No metro yet (line under construction); four shuttle bus lines link the airport to the city (¥25, ~70-110 min). Taxi ~40 min, ¥100.
Anhui provincial capital. T1 for China Eastern & Air China, T2 for others; international/regional flights use T1. Prayer room and halal food available.
🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
Hefei Xinqiao International Airport (HFE) lies far to the northwest, about 48 km from the city.
Hefei South Railway Station (high-speed): take airport bus line 3 into the city, about 70 minutes for ¥25, then transfer to Metro Line 1, which serves Hefei South directly. Alternatively a taxi takes about 50 minutes for ¥120-150.
Hefei Railway Station (central, regular and high-speed): the same way via the airport bus then Metro Line 1 or 3, or by taxi. There is no direct metro from the airport.
