🚇 Getting to the city centre
About 33 km northwest of the city. No metro; four airport bus lines at a flat CNY 20 (Line 1 to Harbin Railway Station, Line 3 to Central Street). Taxi is roughly CNY 100-120 in about an hour.
Northeast China's largest airport and gateway to the famous Ice and Snow Festival. T1 serves international flights, T2 domestic. International routes to Russia, Korea and Japan. Ask about a prayer room and halal food (Harbin has a Muslim community).
🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
Harbin Railway Station: The airport is about 35 km southwest of the city and no metro reaches it yet. The cheapest option is the airport bus (Line 1) to the Civil Aviation Building near Harbin Station for about ¥20 in 50–70 minutes. A taxi is about ¥100–120.
Harbin West Railway Station: Take airport bus Line 3 to the West Station (the high-speed hub) for about ¥20 in roughly 40 minutes, the most convenient choice. A taxi is about ¥80.
Harbin East Railway Station: Use buses or a taxi at about ¥100; there is no direct rail link from the airport.
